    LeadsCon East
    August 17 – 18, 2009
    Marriott Marquis, Times Square
    New York, NY

LeadsCon East represents the first East coast show for the LeadsCon franchise, whose Las Vegas show in March of this year attracted 1400 people. In addition to covering topics core to the long-term success of online lead generation, it will also serve as venue to begin discussing the intersection between brand advertising and performance marketing. Think of LeadsCon East as not just a show for those in the online customer acquisition space but the first-ever performance marketing summit.

Internet advertising is among, if not, the most, accountable forms of advertising. Those experienced in performance marketing, including the multi-billion dollar annually online lead generation industry, have shown how this accountability can translate into more than just measurable results, i.e. customers. While almost all advertising looks to facilitate customer acquisition, not all who spend online will look for a conversion to take place.  That doesn’t imply a wanton use of their spend. It simply means that performance has a different meaning and different measurements for success.  And, regardless of what that definition is, there is no better group to help explore the options than those who have mastered it. Likewise, those in the performance space stand to learn a considerable amount from those who must manage a complex set of variables to insure the right message is delivered to the right audience.
